Greenbutton, which uses Windows Azure to render your 3D scenes on-demand has now support for rendering with Mental ray.
They’ve supported v-ray, Renderman and quite a few other renderers for a while now. Only a few days ago they announced that they now support mental ray. It was announced in the Novedge webinar on Mass Compute On-Demand with V-ray in the cloud.
From the experience I’ve had with GreenButton so far, they have amazing customer service and easy workflow. I will be experimenting with the renderer in the next few weeks, I’ll be putting it to the test with some rather unique material types and plugins to see what it’s capable is of and comparing it with its competitors.
